  @fastasleep

Hi, I didn't receive any news about Ethernet Backhaul on RE715x eitherblush. I don't think it will be ready soon.

Best Regards.

  @BE800user

Hi, I have no idea of the specifci date either. It is recommended to check with local online retailers, such as the TP-Link Official Store, Best Buy, and Amazon.

https://www.tp-link.com/nl/where-to-buy/

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @hilmi2002

It is suggested to start a new thread here with the model number of your range extender:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/77

In the meantime, the following configuration guide should help:

TP-Link Range Extender Setup (Range Extender Mode)

Has connected to TP-Link extender but no internet, what can I do?

Unable to Connect to WiFi Extender or Saying Incorrect Password

Best regards.

  @David-TP

I have just had my ISP modem updated from Rogers Gen 2 XB7 to Gen 3 XB8.     Rogers XB7 vs XB8

I already have Deco X20 (3-pack) which helps in this larger house (approx 4300 sq ft), but I still have corners of the house with a weak signal.

I tried to add a Deco X50 (2-pack)  with one of the X50's as the prime and the second X50 in the room with the poor signal. This actually slowed most connections down, sometimes dramatically. I did try moving them around and I tried playing with channels to avoid busy frequencies and so forth, but nothing seemed to make the improvement, so they were returned to the store.

I am now looking at either the TP-LINK AXE5400 (RE815XE) or the TP-LINK BE11000 (RE655BE). The latter seems difficult to get in Canada, but I have also seen comments that if your router does not support certain features, MLO was one, that you would not get the full benefit of this range extender.

What I am looking for in a range extender is something that can us the 6GHz channel in the new Rogers modem (XB8) as a backhaul. Would either of these be suitable, or am I likely to find the same kinds of issues I had with the Deco system?

Looking for advice on next step to close out this slow performing area of the house.

What is the availability of this product in Central and Eastern Europe?

  @TheCommunicator I can tell you that the RE655BE currently only extends your main 2.4GHz, 5GHz, & 6GHz wireless networks. It does not extend the IoT, Guest, nor MLO wireless networks. You can create a new MLO network with it. This is my experience with the device.

They are available now in Amazon Germany but pricing is prohibitive due to tariffs applied by EU. :((
