Model: Deco X20

Hardware Version: V3

Firmware Version: 1.1.7

Got some questions being:

what's the difference between code (DFN) vs (EU) on hardware V3 ?

The X20 using the app says it's on the latest firmware (1.1.7 build 20240101 rel 64163) however the if one selects the V# EU version it seems to be 1.2.0 Build 20240606

could it also be used on the X20(DFN) model ?

The last question why doesn't the VLAN option show up in any of the menu options or even IPTV ? My goal would be to have the main wifi on vlan id 1 and the IoT on vlan id 10

any way to setup the deco in this way ??

Hi, welcome to the community.

The DFN version is a customized version for the local internet service provider.

I see a 1.2.0 version for Deco X20(DFN)_V3 is in the release process. It is suggested to wait for the release of the customized 1.2.0 version for Deco X20(DFN).

Deco X20(DFN)_V3_1.1.7 also supports IPTV/VLAN. But the VLAN settings are mainaly for internet and IPTV service. Deco doesn't support seperately configuring VLAN tags for Main WiFi and IOT Networks.

Hello,

I have a question, regarding Deco X20 DFN V3.

I saw in https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/kb/detail/412734 that Deco X20 V3 and V4 have received the VPN Server/Client Support on its recent FW update.

My question is, is this Deco X20 DFN V3 also included to have the VPN Support? Or its only the EU version?

Deco X20(DFN)_V3.0 also added the VPN Server/Client on the latest 1.2.1 Build 20240829 Rel. 75539 version.
