hi there,

First post on here.

I'm on a farm and am looking at some cameras to monitor some sheds and the main house. Was tossing up between tp link and Reolink but am leaning towards tp link due to having a EAP610 antenna( which I haven't installed yet).

Saw the C520WS today and am wondering whether these can be powered by solar. If not, do TP link have a good outdoor camera that use solar? Prefer pan and tilt but am open t suggestions and/or recommendations?

Cheers,

Jase

  @Jase013

Hi,
1. The Tapo C520WS can't be powered by a solar panel, it can be powered by the power adapter only.

2. We have outdoor Tapo battery-powered cameras that can be powered by our solar panel. However, they are not Pan & Tilt cameras. You can check if any of the battery-powered cameras can meet your requirements.

Best Regards
