Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.14.0

I purchased this router specifically for its OpenVPN feature, but when I tried to set it up, I realized that the router doesn't actually have a VPN feature. I upgraded to the beta firmware, but it only offers weak encryption VPNs, which is not what I need. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide another beta firmware that includes the features I require. I hope you can solve this issue for us. Thank you.

P.S. Please ensure that you follow through with what you promised in the specifications.

Hi,

Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.

Archer C6 V4 only have beta firmware to support L2TP/IPSec VPN Server.

I have reported your request to add OpenVPN function to related department. But there is not firmware to support it at this time.

For your case, you can return the Archer C6 V4 first and consider purchasing a different model that supports OpenVPN:

Here is the model list that supports VPN function.
