What router do you use? Any network extension devices?
You can try to restart both router and the smart hub.

Lynksys WRT3200
No extensions
Restarted both multiple times and factory reset the hub multiple times too.
I'm a computer engineer and I have the logs from the router... Unless I can get the logs from the device too...

Got a new hub and the problem persists
I tried the Network Analyser application to see the network strength and it's good all around the flat
But the hub it's still not able to connect to the internet

Last week I had the exact same problem (couldn't connect to the wi-fi) and after many trials with three different wi-fi I returned the hub.
If a solution has been found, please share it here.
I would like to be able to buy a new H100 and try again (thx Amazon...) and of course I will do all the testing you would ask me to do, if needed.
I already have about ten Tapo devices (power sockets) and they worked flawlessly since the first trial.
I also have a few Shelly devices and again, they too are working with no probs.
Please be sure to sell items that work in every scenario. The time I wasted trying to make it work has a far grater value than the value of the H100...
Thank you.

What are the routers you have tried? May i know which ISP (internet service provider) you use?

FritzBox 7530
Aruba.
But, as I wrote, I have a few Tapo power plugs (P100 and P105) and they connected with no problems.
Can it be that the H100 needed to be updated? If it did, how could I do it before linking to the wi-fi?
I didn't think to try to connected to a wi-fi generated by my phone bypassing the router...: could it be a useful test to do?
Thx.
f.

Yes the Hotspot would be a useful comparison test if if your sim card service is from another provider. The cause of the remote control failure may lie with the device itself, the router, the ISP, or any connection issue between them.
