Hi, of the two options: Optimal Performance and High Capacity, it would be great to know a bit more about the threshold between the two. I use wireless backhaul, so would like optimal performance - but not to the point where this might create too much interference.

Does this refer to interference with my own 2.4GHz devices, or with neighbouring network channels? How many devices are likely to cause an issue, when you should consider switching to high capacity? And what issues would be caused by the interference? Dropouts or just slower performance? Thanks!

Hi, For the 2.4GHz band, all the supported devices share the same spectrum range(2401 to 2484 MHz) and use 1-13 channels. There will be interference between both your own 2.4GHz devices and your neighbors'. But when we take the distance into consideration, if the neighboring networks are far away from your house, the interference would be mainly from your own 2.4GHz devices.

As the traffic load varies in different usage scenarios, the relevant team hasn't provided a clear test result about the threshold between the two situations: Optimal Performance vs High Capacity. Based on the customer feedback, it would be much recommended to keep 2.4GHz smart home devices under 30.

Thank you very much and best regards.
