Model: Tapo C310
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I want to mount a C310 camera on a window frame post, but it's not very wide. Therefore, before purchasing, I'm trying to determine how far apart the holes need to be that are indicated on the template sticker (see picture, the red distance). Furthermore, I need to know how big the hole should be through the frame to pass the cable with the ethernet and power connector inside. Can anyone help me with this information?

Regards,

Johan

Hi,

1. Please refer to the following picture. The three holes are located on a circle with a diameter of 58mm.
2. We do not have the hole size that can pass the power cable or ethernet cable. If you purchase a camera, you can decide based on the actual installation of the camera.

Best Regards

Hi,
Will you install the Tapo C310 outdoors and need the ethernet cable & power cable inside the house to pass the hole on the frame to connect to the camera?
Best Regards

Yes indeed that is my intention,
place that camera on the (wooden) window post, drill the hole to pass the attached cable to the inside in order to power the unit.
The post is only 70mm wide, so that's why I want to know if the mounting plate with the 3 screws will even fit, and how large a whole I need to drill for passing the connectors.

Johan
