My camera is actually a KC120 but this model is not in your list. I have two of those, one works just fine and the other one was ok until recently. I used to switch them on and off through a remote network, worked well until the second camera stopped being accessible remotely. So I removed it and try to reinstall and reconnect it. It just won't work!

So, just to make sure: First I have to connect the phone to the camera's WiFi (and it does not matter that this WiFi does not connect to the internet). THEN (if that would work which it does not) I would switch back to the phone's WiFi and thus connect the camera to the internet, right?

My problem seems to be that the phone will not connect to the camera's WiFi. What to do?

Hi,
1. Thank you very much for the feedback about the model, we will add the KC120 as soon as possible.

 

2. As you can see in the following configuration instructions, in Step 4, you need to go to your phone > Settings > Wi-Fi to connect to the camera's default Wi-Fi name(even if it does not have internet), then go back to the Kasa app to continue the setup process, and the app will guide you to connect the camera to your home Wi-Fi.
