In the parental control section, how can I filter out or ignore the sites visited from my child’s laptop/cell phone that correspond to background functionalities?

Every day it seems like they’ve been accessing the internet for hours and numerous times, but in reality, it’s just the laptop or cell phone continuously reaching out sites to update widgets or email in the background. Sites like:

When I'm interested in sites that he navigates using browser and on porpose.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

I'm afraid that currently, we can't filter the sites that he navigates using a browser and on purpose from the Parental Control>Visited Websites.

If you wish to have more control details about the Kid device, the "KidShield" profile here might be more useful:

KidShield Test Recruitment - Safeguarding Children's Online Experience

(It will be open for testing within this month.)

Best regards.

Hi  @David-TP

just to understand and to evaluate what to do and if to install KidShield,

what are the differences with Google Family Link or Microsoft Family?

Is there any advantage or at the end the features are the same?

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

After viewing the Google Family Link manual: https://families.google/familylink/, I think its supported features are less than Deco KidSheild, such as Bed Time/Off Time, always allowed/blocked APPs/APP Time Limits. The Parental Control website filter database is also different. Besides, KidSheild is more ”compulsory“ and Kids couldn't randomly opt out. If the kids manage to log out of the child or teen Google Account, they might no longer be under the control of Family Link.

Best regards.
