C520WS LED
C520WS LED
I have finally after a lot of hassle got my LED to work as an alarm at night.
Does anybody know if you configure it so the led comes on for selected time but not flash ???
I would like it to stay on for the selected duration
If you cannot this would be a good option to have if Tapo support people read this
Thanks Chris

Hi,
When selecting the Auto mode, you can go to the camera's Live View page to see if the camera works in the Day mode or Night mode. When the camera works in Night mode, only black & white color on the camera's live view page.

So this is getting really confusing now !!!!
Are you saying I have to manually change to nightmode at night ???
What does the AUTO setting do then ???
I will clarify again
If I manually select NIGHTMODE the spot light comes on with a detection which is good
If select AUTOMODE the spotlight is not coming on at night
I was lead to beleive that the AUTO setting changes to NIGHTMODE when it goes dark, is this correct ???
Surely I dont have to manually select between DAYMODE and NIGHTMODE ???

Hi,
After the camera selects Auto Mode, it will automatically switch between Day mode and Night mode according to the actual lighting conditions in the environment, it does not mean that the camera will switch to Night mode at night time. The Day/Night mode switches relate to the actual lighting environment.
If the spotlight does not turn on when an event is detected after you select Auto mode, you need to check whether the camera has entered Night mode(judged from the camera's Live View page).
