An option for automatically sending videos/screenshots to the phone and the ability to save recordings outside the network would be very useful. I have a cheap bulb camera that allows saving videos upon motion detection without any issues, even when not on the same network. TP-Link Tapo is unable to do this.

Hi,
The Tapo C325WB supports RTSP/Onvif protocol, and you can refer to the instructions below to stream the camera via RTSP/Onvif connection on a third-party app/program locally or remotely. If the third-party app/program supports storing camera videos, you can also save the Tapo C325WB's video recordings outside the network.
How to view Tapo camera on PC/NAS/NVR through RTSP/Onvif Protocol

@maf2a Hi, the option you are refering to in the 'advanced settings' where the account can be made is not there. At least not in my version of the TPLINK Android app. I have a C425.

Hi,
The Tapo battery-powered cameras do not support the RTSP/Onvif protocols now. In your case, please describe your usage scenario in detail for evaluation if you want to store the video recordings automatically on your phone or outside network.
Best Regards
