AX5400 - Archer AX73 Ver 2.0 Randomly Restarts - HomePod and apple tv
I recently purchased an Archer AX73 (AX5400) router. (Archer AX73 Ver 2.0 - 1.1.0 Build 20240323 rel.70541(5553)) Everything seemed fine initially. I was connecting regular wireless devices such as iPads, iPhones, laptops, etc. However, when I connected a Linksys SE3005 switch with several devices (Apple TV, TV, Xbox Series X), the router started rebooting every 2 minutes.
To troubleshoot, I disconnected the switch, and it appeared that the rebooting stopped. However, after another 10 minutes, the problem returned—the router continues to reboot every 2 minutes.
How can I identify what the error is? I was expecting not to have any problems, but this is happening every 2 minutes.
UPDATE: it appears that this is an Apple TV and HomePod related problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/TpLink/s/KfJKhThpyh I also got those devices and it appears that everything was just a coincidence.
UPDATE 2: Just to mention that factory resetting the HomePods solve the problem. Maybe because they are not updated.
UPDATE 3: Resetting and changing settings ofdma/mu-mimo did not solve anything

Hi All
Just wanted to add here that the Beta firmware shared by TP-Link support did the trick and resolved the issue for me.
Thank you for the all the help, much appreciated!

Hi @ojt1998,
If you encounter a similar situation, please help us confirm the following information:
1. Provide more information about the phenomenon when the problem occurs, such as how often it restarts? Which LED lights are off when the network is disconnected?
2. Which client devices are working?
3. When did this problem occur? Has the router been modified recently?
With more details, we can locate the issue faster.

Provide more information about the phenomenon when the problem occurs, such as how often it restarts?
Mine started rebooting constantly to the point the network was unusable
Which LED lights are off when the network is disconnected?
All Led's were going off as if the router was getting manually rebooted
2. Which client devices are working?
None as the router was fully rebooting
3. When did this problem occur? Has the router been modified recently?
it started the beginning of this week when my homepod and apple tv updated. No modifications have been made

Just to mention my experience with these information
1. Provide more information about the phenomenon when the problem occurs, such as how often it restarts? Which LED lights are off when the network is disconnected?
It restarts after a couple of minutes. All the LEDS go off as part of the restart process and then turns on normally.
2. Which client devices are working?
When it restarts nothing works only works after all the lights have been up, but then it restastarts again 😭
3. When did this problem occur? Has the router been modified recently?
From what I have read the problem started with the update of Apple TV OS 18.2 and when you setup the Apple TV to use as main audio output the Apple Homepods. I have another router, TP Link Archer C7, this problem does not occur.
