I want to be able to use my Synology Surveillance Station to store video from my doorbell.

What information I've found mentions that you go into advanced settings for the camera and add a user account (this was for other models of Tapo camera), I don't have this add user account available, so does this mean I can't use my Synology for storage?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated?

Thanks

Jon

Hi,
Currently, the battery-powered cameras/doorbell cameras do not support the RTSP/Onvif protocol, and it's unable to store the video recordings to a third-party station/NVR/NAS.
We have doorbell cameras such as Tapo D235 and TD25 support to be powered hardwired, and in this situation, it's able to store the video recordings to a third-party station/NVR/NAS.
Best Regards
