Local smart actions not working

Hi, I've bought the Tapo S220 and S200B light switch, with H100 hub and light bulb L510E. My intention is to have the have the bulb connected into electricity at all times and control it though the S220 wirelessly. I've created an automation for it, which works, but only when the internet is available as it never switches to Local Smart Action. I've also tried using the S200B light switch, but it haven't switched to local actions either. Any idea why is it not working or how to fix it? I've verified I have all firmware updated.
I've also tried
Turn on(L510E) -> ring(H100)
Click(S200B)-> ring(H100)
Click(S200B)->turn on/off(L510E)
Click(S200B)->turn on/off(S200B)
ring(H100)->Turn on(L510E)
Not a single one of them showes as local or works offline.
Thank you

@Wayne-TP Thanks!
Posting here for visibility. I am having the same problem (local only issue with h100, updated to the latest available firmware , 1.5.23 build 241106 rel 093525)
Can you tell us what will be the version number that will be fix that, if not out there yet? Also, it would be nice to have a timeframe

Thanks @Wayne-TP & apologies as I missed this
My H100 is V1 and the latest firmware is still:
1.5.23 Build 241106 Rel.093525
Do you know which hardware version will receive the 1.6.1 firmware update?
Many regards

I'm afraid the official firmware hasn't been released. But a beta version is currently available. If you'd like to try it out, send me the Mac address of the H100 hub through a private message.
Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.

H500 hub- My understanding is that Automations are "local". i.e. stored on hub and will work without an internet connection.
One comment in another part of the forum says local Automations are identified by a Tapo symbol alongside them.
Is this the case with the H500 - and are my assumptions about Automations being stored locally correct. I also assume that this is the default.
Thanks

Got it, beta firmware set. You may check it later in the Tapo app and perform the update.

The local smart rules are handled by the hub; other rules will go through cloud. There are specific rules for creating local smart automation. If the automation configuration does not match the requirement (e.g. using an unsupported trigger) then the local smart automation cannot be created successfully -- no Tapo icon tagged on the automation rule.
