Hi Guys

i needs some help

i connect to the the internet via adsl and a tp-link "TD-W8980" i wanted to use the wds feature but the other router the "Acher c7" is a bit too far.

so i ran a cable between the two, i figured out i cant connect the cable to the wan port of the "c7" otherwise i cant change the lan ip settings to be on the same subnet as my adsl router or can i?

the issue that i am having i, so on the "c7" i have to turn off dhcp, technically now all devices connected to the "c7" should get an ip from the adsl router, but

my media box connected to the "c7" via cable is not obtaining an ip automatically, am i doing something wrong? n no i cant do static ip on the media box
