Hello. I'm running into a problem with the notifications of the Tapo app / Tapo C410 camera. After I switch the privacy mode on and later off, I don't receive any notifications anymore. I have to reboot the camera before the notifications are send again. The app and camera firmware are up to date. Tried reinstalling the app and resetting the camera to factory settings, but this still occurs. Could this be a bug in the Tapo app (iOS)?

Double-check whether the camera has exited the privacy mode. Reload the app homepage, or force-close and the reopen the app.

 

Are you not receiving the app push notification, in-app notification (check app message center), or both? Is the notification feature still in the On state after exiting the privacy mode? 

 

What's the version of your Tapo app?

Thanks for your reply. After I exit the privacy mode, I see the camera screen again. I don't receive any push notifications after I exit the privacy mode. The only thing that works is restarting the camera every time I exit the privacy mode.

 

Version of the Tapo app: 3.9.506 (iOS).

I have the Tapo C425 cameras firmware version 1.2.25.  I am using an Android pixel 8a phone with the Tapo app showing version 3.10.240.   I was playing with privacy mode and no longer am getting notifications.  Below shows the privacy mode if off.  Any suggestions appreciated to reinstate notifications.
