I'd like the option to turn off the red flashing LED when the device is not connected to WiFi.

I use these as discreet cameras in a rural area with no WiFi. I set them up with WiFi initially and then set them to local continuous recording.  The red LED means the cameras are no longer discreet and the light reflects off glass to reduce recording quality.

Whilst you can turn off the green LED, there seems to be no way to turn off the red one. Using tape is a partial solution but the glass face means you can still see red flashing externally.

It seems strange to provide a means of turning off the green LED but not the red one.
