The sold orange led indicates the H200 hub is connected to router, but not to the cloud. In this state, the hub can only be controlled locally with Tapo app, remote control and other cloud features like automation won't work.

For the remote control failure issue, you can refer to the suggestions here in case 2 for troubleshooting. Cannot use the Tapo app to control my smart devices

  @Wayne-TP

In the app which is on the same router as the H200 it stays greyed out and Offline ? DNS1 is the router and dns2 8.8.8.8. I am cofused over that as long as it remains powered everything works but after a short cut off it starts red, turns to flashing red/green a few seconds then orange. Why isnt the configuration stored and used when power returns? What am I missing?

How did you make the hub return to the normal solid green state after a power cut?

I had to make several hw resets before it was discovered in the app and could be configured.

Please double-check whether the hub is online in the Tapo app when your phone connects to the same local network. To avoid network switching and interference, during the testing, turn off celluar data, disable VPN, ad-blocker apps, and other related apps if any.

Since the device needs time to restart, please wait for one to two minutes after the hub LED indicator switches to a steady orange before testing. You can also try refreshing the app homepage multiple times or force-closing the app and reopening it to ensure that the device status information displayed in the app is accurate.

What router do you use? Who is the internet service provider?
