Model: Tapo C210
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.2

The camera is installed on a ADSL connection 13mbit download and 1 mbit upload. I have read the forum and i know tp-link suggest 5Mbit upload but

im trying to watch the 720p stream that is only 200-300 Kbit so my connection should be able to handle it...but even with 720p (and not 2K) the camera cannot

be viewed from the internet...from LAN its ok but i didnt buy it to watch it from the LAN... is it because the stream is coming to Greece where I am coming from USA ?

I say again 300Kbit is watchable with my connections upload but when i try it it isn't...even PTZ movements take for ever to be transmitted to the camera and the

outcome of a OTZ press comes on screen on 10 seconds...practically the C210 worthless...I tried it with more upload bandwidth and it's ok...what can I do ?

I see something for a 360p stream but there is not such option in the tapo software

Hi,
It's unfortunate to hear that you’ve been experiencing difficulties with the remote viewing of your camera. Generally, video streaming requires a certain amount of bandwidth to transmit images effectively. Although you have reduced the camera's resolution to 720P, factors such as bandwidth limitations, network congestion, and the impact of cross-border data transmission can still negatively affect your viewing experience.

If you are unable to connect the camera to a router with better bandwidth, here are some suggestions that may help improve the situation:
  1) View during Off-Peak hours: Try accessing the camera during times when network usage is lower. This may lead to a smoother experience.
  2) Positioning: If possible, place the camera closer to the router to improve Wi-Fi signal strength and speed.
  3) Router Settings: Consider changing the 2.4GHz channel on your router to see if it improves speed. Additionally, you can explore using QoS features to prioritize the camera's traffic.

Best Regards
