I bought the deco x55 to replace my old network at home. When setting up the wifi password it does not allow me to use my old password, as it does not fulfill all the password requirements. 

The thing is that I have quite a lot of devices configured for my old SSID and password and I won't like to go through each one changing the password. To reconfigure each device in Google home means to delete each one and re-pairing, causing a huge headache, as it will impact the whole Smart Home ecosystem (Homey, Aqara, Ikea).

Is it possible to have a firmware release with this security feature disabled? None of the WPA standards require all these enforcements. If it is not possible, I don't see an alternative other than changing to another brand of mesh routers.
