Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: Latest

Hi all,

I have set up a mesh network with 2 Deco XE75 units, 2 X50 Outdoor units, and 1 M5.

The connection goes from the ISP modem (Ziggo) to a Netgear switch, and from there via Ethernet to all Decos, except one X50 which is connected via Wi-Fi.

Since one or two firmware updates ago, the Wi-Fi drops several times per hour. I’ve turned off Beamforming and Fast Roaming, but the issue still persists.

A few months ago, it was running smoothly for months, but now it keeps dropping — even if I auto-restart the system every night.

I also tried placing the main Deco in front of the switch, but that didn’t change anything.

The Deco is set-up in acces point mode.

  @dirkmuis

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Can I have the firmware version of all the Deco units:2 Deco XE75 units, 2 X50 Outdoor units, and 1 M5?

During the disconnection, have you seen any Deco turn red/flashing red?

---By the way, can I have the model number of the Netgear switch?

---If all units are always solid green, can I have the model number of the devices that frequently drop out?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

XE 75's: 1.4.3 Build 20240926 Rel. 38336

XE 50 outdoor's: 1.2.8 Build 20240914 Rel. 35513

M5: 1.7.8 Build 20240719 Rel 70981

I haven't noticed any led's (didn't check either).

The Netgear is a Prosafe 16 port gigabit switch model GS116

I didn't check all the devices at once, but it looks like the whole wifi drops because TV, laptop, iPhones all disconnect at the same time
