I’m having an issue with my Deco M4R setup (2 units, hardware version v2.8, firmware 1.6.5 Build 20241231). I’ve set up both main and guest networks. The main network works perfectly fine across both Decos, which are connected via Ethernet backhaul through a switch. The problem is with the guest network — it only works near the main Deco. When I move to another room where the second Deco takes over, devices on the guest network either disconnect or show a “Failed to obtain IP address/ Could't get IP Address” error. The guest SSID is visible and devices try to connect, but there’s no IP lease or internet. This happens consistently. I’ve tried rebooting both Decos, resetting the second one, disabling fast roaming and Beamforming, but nothing changes. I feel like the guest network isn’t being properly extended by the second Deco. I’m pretty sure this isn’t just me — it feels like a bug that should be easy to replicate. Would really appreciate some insight or confirmation from others who’ve faced this. Thanks!
