I'm experiencing slow download speeds with my Archer C64 modem/router. Despite having an 80 Mbps download plan from my ISP, I'm only getting 0.55 Mbps download speed while upload speeds are normal at 80 Mbps. This issue persists whether I use the device as a main router or access point. The slowdown started suddenly, and I'm unsure of the cause.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—router)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

 

Please test the link speed of the router: How to check the associated/link speed on a wired client

Here are some suggestions may help you:

    1) If Ethernet speed is slower than expected, please try different Ethernet cables (CAT5E or above) on the Router.

    2) Disable QoS, please access http://tplinkwifi.net and go to Advanced >> QoS to disable it.                     

    3) Disable Parental Control, please go to Advanced >> Parental Control to disable it.

If you can, please hard reset the router and configure it again.
