  @Kevin_Z instead of global version 1.3.2 you can release new firmware I have been having problems with this bad version for 2 months why are customers not listened to I am not going to write again what my complaints are I write and enough people have submitted enough complaints and errors

@Pro-gamer

Have you tried to update to the official 1.3.2 Build 20250929 version on your GE800?

Just as Vendex tried to explain, it takes time to develop and test a stable firmware. Our developers are working actively to do thorough tests before it's ready to be upgraded.

Please be more patient. Thank you very much.

  @Kevin_Z yes, I have tested my fiber optic connection, the speed drops every time, after a few minutes the WiFi signal drops by 4 meters, unfortunately it also drops

@Pro-gamer

If I remember correctly, your GE800 works stably with the previous 1.3.1 official version, but you experience abnormal speed and signal drops with every subsequent version.

Are there any EasyMesh satellite devices in the GE800's network?

Is there a wall or other obstacle between the GE800 and the wireless client when you move 4 meters away? Be sure the environment stays unchanged. Please use a Wi-Fi analyzer or other software to check whether the Wi-Fi signal is strong, and show me the pictures.

  @Kevin_Z   Google artificial intelligence.That is a completely valid point. It is incredibly frustrating when you spend 600 to 700 euros on a high-end gaming router like the Archer GE800, but the manufacturer then treats you like a beginner by "hiding" important settings.

You buy WiFi 7 precisely for that 320 MHz, and if you can't manually lock it in, it feels like you bought a Ferrari where the manufacturer determines when you can use sixth gear.You buy WiFi 7 precisely for that 320 MHz, and if you can't manually lock it in, it feels like you bought a Ferrari where the manufacturer determines when you can use sixth gear.Why this is extra special for the GE800:

Marketing vs. Practice: They advertise 19 Gbps speeds, but because of the "Auto" mode you have no guarantee that you will actually get that bandwidth.

The competition does it better: With the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 you can simply select "320 MHz" in the menu. The fact that TP-Link blocks this on a "Pro Gaming" model is technically a weakness.

Regional restrictions: This is often a lazy way of programming for the European market. Because we have less 6 GHz space here, they block the button to avoid hassle with regulators (Telecom Agency)please remove that automatic 320 band from car and let us use real 320mhz instead of the router choosing our channel width

Hi @Kevin_Z, I configured the rules in the IPv6 GE800 web interface. I already put the router aside, i am playing directly on the ISP modem. At the moment, it is the best gameplay i had. It is unfortunately not on the GE800, but on the modem. I do not get bufferbloated only a bit on upload like i said when this is off. The GE800 does very very well on the download side, the upload side i get sometimes. The thing is i also get a bit of bloat on the ISP modem, but the gameplay is totally different. The isp modem has also some type of sqm or qos to it. Interface is very much simpel. I just forwarded ports and changed dns that was it. most of the ISP default settings included wifi 2.4 and 5G which work in smart balance mode work very good. Ipv4 and Ipv6 (SLAAC) are standard. Ipv6 does not even have inbound rules to it. Only firewall settings like ip-flood protection (Ddos) etc for Ipv4 as well as 6, are really separated. So, i have realised that most of my gameplay issues maybe coming because of what i already said about the router. Very very very high end router, but really needs to be fixed and be optimized for games. I hope this comment contribute to further development of the gaming router.

  @Zeryoung It is quite surprising to hear that a standard ISP modem is outperforming a Wi-Fi 7 flagship like the GE800 in your case. In my experience, the GE800 has been flawless, which makes me think the issue might not be the firmware itself, but how the router interacts with your modem.

Most ISP modems today do have Wi-Fi and basic port forwarding, but they rarely have the processing power or specialized SQM of a high-end gaming router. If your ISP modem is still acting as a router (with its own Wi-Fi and firewall active) while the GE800 is connected to it, you are likely dealing with a Double NAT or conflicting QoS rules. This would explain why your gameplay feels different.

Have you tried putting your ISP modem into Bridge Mode? This is crucial because it disables the modem's internal routing and allows the GE800 to handle the traffic directly. If the GE800 is fighting against the modem's built-in firewall or 'smart balance' settings, you will never get the performance this hardware is capable of. It is worth investigating the connection chain before concluding it is a firmware bug, especially since the device works perfectly in other setups like mine

Think Red. Play Hard.

Hi @Vendex, I did everything you just said. Bridge + no bridge. I had decent gameplay on the router connected to the modem, but not as good when playing on the modem itself. I do not think it is the modem itself, otherwise in bridge mode the router should outperfom the modem. And as already stated a couple of times, the router has some serious firmware issues. The isp modem that i have is also good performance. I have no doubt in the capactity of this router, but as I tried and tested everytime, it is not optimized for gaming. I hope just that this router can actually be at the level it was created to be, just a simple.

Hello  @Kevin_Z

The router still does not recognize GeForce Now correctly in the traffic statistics or in the Game Center tab.

All GeForce Now traffic is categorized as Unknown. 46.52 GB of data was mostly used during my GeForce Now sessions. However, there is also a separate entry showing GeForce Now using only 2.63 GB, which I do not understand. However the traffic is still not being classified correctly in the traffic statistics. All GeForce Now traffic continues to be categorized as Unknown.

Could you please ask the team to look into this issue?

For reference, I am using macOS Tahoe 26 on a Mac Studio. The issue occurs regardless of whether I am connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. I already told the engineer about this issue last time

Thank you.
