Request for Firmware Update File for Archer AX53 (USA Version)

Hello,
I have recently bought a TP-LINK Archer AX53 V1 (US) router and after setting it up to work, noticed that there is an available Firmware update waiting to be initiated. The available firmware is 1.4.3 Build 20250314 rel.78903
For some reason, the update seems to fail without any error code.
I have tried the following:
- Tried to run the update from my laptop where I have wired(LAN) connection, from the admin page and the download phase is fine, but when installing, it loads to 100% two times really quick and at the 3rd attempt it fails at 0%.

Hi,
This appears to be a common problem. Somehow the Archer AX53 cannot update directly from a very early firmware version to the latest version 1.4.3.

Basically, you need to manually update your Archer AX53 to an intermediate firmware version first (1.3.1 seems to be a good choice, although 1.2.4 might work as well) and then the update to 1.4.3 should be able to succeed.

That does not matter. The problem and the solution to the problem are the same for all regional versions of the Archer AX53 V1.
You can download firmware version 1.3.1 via the download link in the first post of this thread: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/730864

I believe that in this particular case an upgrade path should be defined by @Kevin_Z in the thread, where the AX53 new FW release announcement was made.

@terziyski Actually, in general cases, users can upgrade to the latest version directly. There is no need to upgrade to an older version first.
It appears that there was an issue with the firmware code, which blocks users from upgrading to the latest 1.4.3 version from a 1.1.x version.
Please don't worry, this will be corrected very soon, and you will receive a new official version soon.
