Auto Failback Issue in NX200 – Not Switching Back to EWAN automatically when fiber is restored.
Dear TP-Link Support, @Sunshine @David-TP
I am using the TP-Link Archer NX200 router (Hardware Version: v1.0, Firmware Version: 1.6.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 250529 Rel.55411n).
I have configured the router to use EWAN (Fiber) as the primary internet and Mobile Data (MBB) as backup. My setup works partially as expected:
-
When EWAN (fiber) fails, the router correctly switches to the Mobile Data connection.
-
However, it does not switch back to EWAN automatically when fiber is restored (but it will show as pppoe connected but client receving data from mobile data MBB)
It continues to use mobile data until I manually turn off mobile data.
This is causing unwanted mobile data usage even when the fiber connection is available and active.
Please confirm:
-
Is this the expected behavior on NX200?
-
If not, is there a firmware fix or setting adjustment to enable automatic failback to EWAN when fiber returns?
This functionality works seamlessly on your MR600 model. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.
see below , its connected to MBB even when Fiber available and connected (as boave screen). not sowtching back to fiber automatically.
