Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1.1.2 Build 250228 Rel.53290n

Hello all,

I installed 4 wifi cameras in my home out of four, 3 were 360 rotating modals and these cameras have a weird problem of looking at a specific point randomly. Nothing changes it just looks into nowhere just away from created viewpoint. In my case C210 it's wall, and 510 looks at the floor.

Like I've to watch over these cameras all time if they are watching or not. Defeats whole purpose of these smart camera, how dumb they are. It was better if I had purchased bullet camera only.

Any help, suggestion would be appreciated.

  • Check if you have ever created any automation rules that involve moving the camera viewpoint.  *Tapo app homepage, navigate to the bottom Smart tab > Automation.
  • Disable the camera's Motion Tracking feature, see if that makes any difference. *Camera Device Settings page > Detection > Motion Tracking (or Auto Tracking).
  • Try to restart the camera.
  • Perform a Pan & Tilt correction.
