Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.7.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 240716 Rel.67874n

Just swapped a VDSL Broadband router for a TL-MR6400 linked to Vodafone network. Openreach Internet useless around here so trying out LTE using the MR6400.

I have two IP cameras on the network that due to their location are connected to the router by a single port AV500 Powerline adapter and an AV500 2 port Powerline Adapter to the Cameras. I have now connected them to the MR6400 using the same set up but the router wired client list does not show the cameras.  I can see them on my local network using the camera software also my ESET security software shows them on network map as connected.

It appears the MR6400 does not recognise the cameras behind the Powerline adapters. Is there another router that would resolve this so I can see the cameras from the WAN from my mobile. All other aspects of the router appear to working fine but the cameras working are important to my set up.

Hi, welcome to the community.

If we connect a laptop via an Ethernet cable to the AV500(2 ports), will the PC be able to access the internet and show up in the DHCP list of the MR6400?

For the AV500 powerline adapters, is it the TL-WPA4220 kit?

Have you configured static IP settings on the IP cameras?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
