Request for Clear Timeline: WireGuard VPN Support for Deco X50 V1.30 (US Firmware)
Hello TP-Link Team,
I am a Deco X50 V1.30 (US region) user currently on firmware 1.2.10, and I would like to request clarification and a timeline for when WireGuard VPN client support will be released for this version.
As you know, other Deco X50 models (EU and global firmware) have already received this feature starting with firmware 1.4.5 and later builds (e.g., 1.5.5), which added built-in WireGuard client and simplified configuration for NordVPN and Surfshark. This is a highly requested capability that dramatically improves VPN performance and usability.
However, US firmware users remain stuck on 1.2.10, with no official communication about when (or if) we will see parity with these other releases. I’ve noticed that previous community posts on this topic were closed without providing specific timelines, leaving users uncertain about the status of development.
My questions to the Deco Team:

When will WireGuard VPN support be added to Deco X50 V1.30 (US)?

Will the US version achieve feature parity with the global/EU versions that already support WireGuard?

If there are delays due to regulatory or technical reasons, can you please provide an official statement so users can plan accordingly?
Deco users value transparency, and even a tentative roadmap or statement would go a long way in addressing the uncertainty surrounding this feature.
