WireGuard VPN Client Not Passing Traffic on Archer BE230 v1.20 Firmware

Hello,
I’m encountering the same issue like this. After configuring the WireGuard client on my Archer BE230 (hardware version v1.20), the VPN displays as “connected,” but no internet traffic passes through for connected devices even though the tunnel is active.
Could you please review this problem and provide an update or fix?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hello@Jackye01,
welcome to our community.
Please let me know which step did you stuck in, any error message or screenshot? Troubleshooting you've done before.
Who is your VPN provider? What country/region is the client located in? Please make sure you have completed the configuration correctly (you can check whether the username and password are entered correctly)
Please confirm whether the VPN server is working properly. You can set up VPN clients with the same configuration information on different devices to access the VPN server for testing.
If other clients can access the VPN server normally, please help collect the system logs and backups files of the router:
How to view and save System Log of TP-Link wireless router
How to create and restore from a backup file on your TP-Link Router
Then email the logs and backup files to support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching [Forum ID 834692] and details, please be sure the .conf file for WireGuard is included when emailing to support.
We will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.

Hello. Thanks for getting back to me
The router's WireGuard client connects to my VPN server successfully, showing a "connected" status with a good handshake. However, no devices assigned to the VPN can access the internet because traffic isn't returning to them. There are no error messages displayed. I use a self-hosted VPN server (Singapore VPS), and if I connect to it using the exact same WireGuard config file on my phone or PC (using the official WireGuard app), it works perfectly. Traffic flows without a problem. I've debugged the traffic when using the router's client, I can see traffic from my devices go out through the VPS, but the return traffic never makes it back through the router to the device.
Besides testing the config on other devices, I've already tried rebooting the router and re-uploading the config file multiple times. The issue is only present when the router itself is the VPN client.
Thank you
