DECO X50 constant red light (hard reset required)

So I've experienced this issue twice now and it is getting extremely frustrating.
I've set up my Deco X50 as a 5G router with a SIM card of a very reliable network provider in Switzerland. First time, the Deco X50 went constant red light after only 2 days of use. No power outage. Just out of the blue. Had to hard reset, as unplugging and plugging it in again didn't work. It still showed a constant red light, despite working SIM card.
Now it happened again and we had to set up all smart devices again, which is VERY frustrating. Again, no power outage, network is stable, SIM card is working. I've seen that it's possible to create a backup for wireless routers, but couldn't find a possibility while in 5G router mode. As someone with little technical experience on this matter, can you please guide us on what to do? Is our unit faulty and needs replacement? Is there a way to create a backup in case this happens again?

Hi, Nice to see you again.
Can I have your SIM service provider?
It is suggested to install the firmware here first:
Enhance the Overall 5G network stability for Deco X50-5G_V2
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP Hi, service provider would be Wingo (daughter company of Swisscom). How can I install this firmware on the router?

Hi, the beta needs to be installed via the web admin UI:
How to Update the Firmware of Deco (method 2 here)

I've carefully followed the instructions. Having waited for around 10 minutes while "upgrading" the firmware, now it's showing a constant red light again with no internet connection. I'll leave it as it is and wait another 30 minutes, after which I'll unplug and replug it, to see if it's back to normal...

I've replugged the device and after entering SIM PIN, it's working again. Attached you can find the screenshot, is the suggested firmware installed?

@SwissPirate Hi, yes, it is the correct version.
Except for the first time that you need to manually unplug/plug the router to recover from the constant red state, did Deco X50-5G turn to red and drop out again?
I hope you can monitor the network stability in the next 2-3 days to see whether the beta version improves the network stability.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP I'm sorry, I forgot to add informations after I crashed out emotionally at the thought of having to set everything up again.
To our luck though, the Deco was only showing a constant red light, because it asked for PIN entry of the locked SIM card. So fortunately, everything is ok. It'd be great if there was another signal, that SIM pin needs to be entered (or the possibility of storing the PIN as information, so it doesn't need to be manually entered).
