Green phone symbol on detection events
Hi I have installed a Tapo 235 doorbell for a friend. When looking at video playback she gets certain symbols. I think the green phone means that she was called but there is a green phone with an arrow pointing away sometimes does this mean she didn't answer or missed the call?

Hi,
On the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Doorbell > Doorbell Video Call page, please check if the Ring Call option is selected.
If so, the first green phone icon on your picture means that someone pressed the doorbell, and the second phone icon means that the ring call displayed on the phone is picked up when someone pressed the doorbell.

@Solla-topee thanks so much could you also help with this then? My friend thinks that when the doorbell is pressed it doesn't always ring her phone . So in this example she said her cleaner rang the doorbell but there was no phone call. That doesn't fit with your answer

Hi,
It's suggested to reproduce the reported phenomenon and collect the video and camera log for further analysis. Below are the steps to collect the camera log and video.
1. On the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Doorbell > Doorbell Video Call page, please ensure the Ring Call option is selected. Tap Grant Permission, and ensure the Ringcall Permissions are allowed.
2. Enable the Screen Recorder feature on your phone.
3. Let someone press the doorbell on the camera, wait for a moment, and check if you can receive a video call. If so, pick it up for a while before hanging it up.
4. Go to the Tapo app > camera's Playback page to find the corresponding video clip and check if there are two phone icons.
5. Stop recording the phone's screen, save the video, and send it to us.
6. You can refer to the instructions "How to get the log of Tapo Camera" to collect the camera log.
After you collect the video and the camera log, it's recommended to send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following information.
