Hi

I have an older i-Pad, which runs on ios 9.3.5. and cannot be upgraded. It would however make an ideal monitor. the current software will not load (not compatible). has anyone any experience of running none O/E software? there must be someway surely?.

Hi,
The Tapo app (v3.13.503) currently requires iOS 12.0 or later. While it might be possible to find older versions of the app, Apple's App Store typically only provides the most recent compatible version for download.

We suggest finding a mobile device that is compatible with the latest Tapo app to manage the Tapo cameras.

If you only have the iPad, you may check if any third-party apps that support RTSP/Onvif protocols, such as VLC or iSpy, can be installed on your iPad. If so, you can stream the camera via RTSP/Onvif with third-party apps.
