Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: Archer VR600(EU)_V3_240929

Updated to the latest firmware, which added the new OpenVPN Client feature an excellent addition. However, multiple errors occur while editing settings, including:

1-Cant add more service filter rules.

Error code: 9812 The number of entries has reached its limit. Even though it was only 15. Some rules, when applied, require restarting the router to take effect, regardless of whether you enable or disable them.

2-Enabling or disabling isolation

Error code: 7500
Wireless settings conflict. Please verify the settings, e.g. 1.WEP security or WPA/TKIP encryption is not supported with 11n-only wireless mode enabled; 2.WEP security or WPA/WPA2 Enterprise is not supported when WPS is enabled.

3-Parental Controls Content Restriction doesn't support adding languages with characters other than Latin.

I can't help it but to Feature request:
- Add WPA3 support, DoH/DoT support, Wireshark VPN support, and QoS Database Upgrade (We will release the latest database version on www.tp-link.com. You can download and update the router's database to extend its supported applications = never happened)

Hi @MIOT ,

Welcome to our community.

I would like to know if you have tried these functions before updating the firmware and found they are working properly? Do you remember what the previous version was?

It's normal that WEP security or WPA/TKIP encryption is not supported with 11n-only wireless mode enabled, the reason is:
To improve transmission speed and stability, the 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4) standard mandates the use of the AES-CCMP encryption algorithm (i.e., WPA2-AES). WEP and WPA/TKIP are based on the outdated RC4 stream cipher technology and are insecure.

For a network device, the more functions it has, the more memory it requires. Adding new functions also depends on the device's hardware performance. Simply adding new functions won't necessarily maximize the performance of a network device.

For the release of new features, I cannot give you a definite answer because I am not a developer.

@MIOT I remember it happening to an previous tplink router I had, but it "fixed itself" if I leave that page and return to it, so there was an workaround to add more rules.
