Separate motion sensor

Is it possible to use a separate motion sensor to trigger the recording on c425?

Hi,
You can use a separate motion sensor to trigger the Tapo C425 to turn on or off the Privacy Mode via Smart Action > Automation feature.
For example, if the Tapo C425 enters Privacy mode, you can trigger the camera to turn off the Privacy mode via the Automation feature. Then the camera can record when detecting events. However, it's unable to trigger the camera to start recording via the Automation feature.
