Internet Connection Dependency

I have Deco X50-PoE AX3000 (3packs) A,B and C, in a AP MODE. A is the main device B & C are the sattelite. All devices are connected to the same switch via a ethernet cable. if the main device (A) went down, will the clients connected to the sattelite devices B and C lose internet connectivity?

Hi, it would.
If the main Deco failed, the other two will still be up, and usually, there will also be a pop-up notice on the Deco APP to ask if you want to switch to a different unit as the main Deco.
By the way, the latest firmware for Deco X50-POE_v2 is 1.5.0. It is also suggested to update to the latest firmware:

Not sure to be honest but, I would just unplug A from power and see if B and C keep internet. I would think they would since all three are in AP mode and I don't believe any unit is consider the main unit while in AP mode

Hi, Satellite units automatically copy the network settings from the main Deco, so they don't need to talk to the ISP gateway individually. The main Deco is quite important in "Wireless Router" mode, but it works more like a symbolic role in AP mode, mainly for convenient management on the Deco APP.
Best regards.
