Hi.

Is there possibility to set the Patrol mode interval in minutes? Currently can only set Patrol interval in 1 hour steps and it's useless like that.

Tapo c660 v1.0

Firmware 1.0.15

  @PepeJ

Hi,
Currently, it's unable to set the Tapo C660's patrol mode interval in minutes. In this situation, we recommend you provide a detailed usage scenario and describe the reason why you want the camera to be able to set the interval in minutes. I'll log the feature request and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation.
Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Definetely it should be much shorter than hours! It ruins the whole point of pan/tilt camera!

Do I want to turn my back for an hour - no!  Even 10 min intervals would do but not hours!

  @Solla-topee the whole idea of using patrol mode is to have the camera periodically change to different views to check different zone for changes or activity.

In other Tapo devices this patrol mode interval can be set in minutes and hours. In fact there is an option to set it to as low a time as 1 minute.

Consider a scenario where the C660 is mounted on a shed. To the left is a garage. To the center is a house. To the right is the back of the property. Having the camera patrol between those locations on a set interval less than 1 hour is a critical capability.

Hi, My cam is set on a corner of my house and I want it to catch both sides. For that, I'd need the cam to switch between both positions. But letting one hour for someone to go behind the cam to do whatever he wants is far too long and useless for my need, and I do not want to buy a second cam to monitor what is happening behind the first.

Hi,

I just bought a c660. I also put it on the corner of my house. I took this 360 camera to avoid to put several camera. I agree that 1 hour for the patrol is far too long. We should be able to configure at least a minute, 30 seconds would be perfect.

You can't call it a security camera some zones uncontrolled during 1h.

Why you set 1h for this camera while some other tapo models can have 1 min? That's really not understandable.

I hope this feature will comes soon.
