Suggestion & Report
Will Deco X50v1.30 not get a new update and even if it does, it should have Channel width auto mode such as 20/40/80/160Mhz.

Hi, Deco X50_V1.3 sold in the local market of Bangladesh doesn't support 160MHz, as the local WiFi regulation only allows band 4 over 5GHz, so the maximum bandwidth is up to 80MHz.
There are new firmware versions planned for Deco X50_V1.3 in the future. However, there is no clear news on whether or when the Channel Selection will be added.
I believe you have inquired about this several times. Unfortunately, I'm afraid there isn't any new progress. We prefer not to share any uncertain details until this firmware is released soon.
Thanks a lot for your understanding and support.
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for the update.
I did remember you posted a similar picture before here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/801912 , and I confirmed with the engineer that the Deco X50 sold in BD doesn't allow 160MHz. However, Deco X50_V1.3 is also sold in other regions, and occasionally users could purchase the same model from abroad, so I only highlighted the BD local version.
The channel width is part of the "Channel Selection" feature on the Deco APP. Sorry, I should have said it more clearly.
The 5GHz is usually for higher bandwidth, and it doesn't make sense if the bandwidth is set to 40MHz or lower. But if the 20/40MHz manual selection is for 2.4GHz, Deco sometimes prefers using 40MHz over 2.4GHz, and if you experience any issues with 40MHz, there is a new beta version based on 1.2.10, which might help with the current issue.
Best regards.

@David-TP Yes, according to what you said, it is understood that there was supposed to be a separate firmware for the model released in Bangladesh, but I have not seen any such firmware update anywhere, since it is the US firmware, it was supposed to be used accordingly...!? I once installed the Canadian firmware and saw that it could select 160Mhz manual channel width, but I was not satisfied with it, so I wanted it to come with an update that would have Auto channel width, such as 20/40/80/160mhz. I will send you a video via email showing how I set it.
