Tapo Widgets not working with iOS 26 (blanked out when using clear iphone icons)
Hello, I've updated to iOS 26 (beta), I know it's still in beta but I've not found any mention of this issue.
when I set my iPhone icons to the 'clear' appearance setting, my Tapo widgets (device control, shortcuts etc) all end up completely whited out and become unusable
i I appreciate I'm on the beta of iOS but the full release is due within the next week. Everything looks and works perfectly normal when the icons are set to their default appearance
can tp link confirm that this will be fixed and that it's on the radar?
Thanks!

st wanted to check — how’s the alert notification sound in iOS 26? The low notification sound issue has been there since iOS 17.

@RAJA22223 Sorry i'm not sure what low notification sound issue you're referring to - i've never experienced any issues with low notification sounds and i'm also not sure what relevance that has to the issue I described regarding the widgets?

Hi,
You can try uninstalling the Tapo app installed on your iPhone. Refer to the following steps to install a Tapo debug app via TestFlight, and then check if it resolves the reported phenomenon.
1. Copy the download link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/rzhrWbd8
2. Open Safari on your iOS device and paste the link into the address bar.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the TestFlight app (if not already installed).
4. Use TestFlight to download and install the beta version of our app.

hello - thank you for the reply, i have installed the beta Tapo app and can confirm the widgets are now displaying correctly when using the 'clear' and 'tinted' icons!
the only thing that's not quite right now is the on/off buttons on the device control widget. When the devices are switched on, the on/off buttons are just white circles (see screenshot)
Thank you
