Deleting problem, SD card.
Loving my Tapo. But when first installed a DELETE option was available with each Playback viewing - within the onscreen options and also in the 3-dot choices. I have lost this and somehow gained a sort of sliding timeline/timestamp beneath each video. I was happy as I was. How to reset or get back where I was?

The Delete option is available for the cloud video clips. For the video recordings stored on the SD card, you can try the following steps to delete them.
1. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recordings > Local Storage page and click on Format microSD Card to format the inserted SD card. This action will erase all video recordings stored on the SD card. We recommend that you back up any important video clips before formatting the card.
2. Connect the SD card to your computer using an SD card adapter, then manually delete the video recordings you no longer need on the computer.
For the feature request to delete the video recordings stored on the SD card in the Tapo app, you can vote and share your usage scenario on the thread "Manually deleting video from SD card" for evaluation.

@WasChad That is a longwinded method when the option to delete was available when viewing videos on playback. Did this ideal method get removed when I accepted a system update maybe? Your help is appreciated but does not explain why my Tapo is now has far less capabilities than when first installed.

Hi,
As I mentioned before, the delete option is available for the cloud video clips. Every Tapo Camera is eligible for a one-time free trial of the Tapo Care services. The Free trial period is 30 days for each camera since you enabled it on the Tapo App. With a Tapo Care free trial, your camera can store video clips on our cloud server for up to 30 days.
You have the option to delete video clips when you first installed the Tapo camera, maybe because you enabled the Tapo Care Free Trial service. After the Tapo Care trial service expires, the video recordings are stored on the SD card only, and the delete option is not available.
