Stuck with only the power light

Hello community, how are you?
I have a TP-Link Archer C60 Dual Band AC1350 router at home, and it’s having an issue: it stays stuck with only the power light on and doesn’t go any further. I’ve tried resetting it several times, but it seems like the reset doesn’t work.
Has anyone experienced this before or have any idea what might be causing it?
Thank you very much for all the help!

Hello Joseph, thank you again for your support.
The notebook recognizes the Ethernet cable, but when I try to access the modem at 192.168.0.1, it doesn’t open the page. I have already set the correct IP settings, but it still doesn’t work.
Do you have any suggestion?

Hi,
You could still try the TFTP method. There are many guides on the Internet that show how to do it. (for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKZD_2V1sMc )
Anyway, there can be many reasons why a router stopped working. A corrupted firmware is just one of them. It's also possible that a hardware component failed in your C60.

Hello,
First of all, thank you very much for your support and guidance, the recovery procedure worked and I was able to bring the router back online.
However, I’ve noticed a new issue: whenever I log into the web interface to configure it, the router keeps rebooting automatically.
Could you please advise what might be causing this behavior? Do you think it’s still related to the firmware, or could it be a hardware issue?
Thanks again for all your help, I really appreciate it.

Have you already performed a factory reset after the firmware recovery? (after the router has booted up press and hold the "Reset" button for about 5 seconds)

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that the issue has been fully resolved. After updating the firmware, I realized that the problem was actually related to the power supply. The adapter I was using was only 5V, while the router requires 12V.
That was the reason why it kept rebooting by itself. After replacing it with the correct 12V power adapter, everything is working perfectly now.
Problem solved, thank you all very much for the support and guidance!
