No matter what I do and how many different settings I try, zones settings are ignored.

 

I am about to replace all 9 cameras and cloud subscription to different brand because of it. It's annoying as hell and support closes email and never helps.

 

Anyone out there that can confirm this working?

 

Yes cameras are on latest firmware. 

 

I set a zone and I still get notified when movement happens outside the zone.

Hi, 
Take one of your Tapo C110s as an example. Please confirm the following information for further analysis if the camera's detection zone is not working. 


  1. Send me (@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.

  2. On the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send us the screenshots of the Detection page, detection zone page, and the pages of the enabled detection types.


  3. On the camera's Playback & Download > Playback page, please download a video clip that displays the detection zone is not working and send it to us for analysis. Please also send us a screenshot of the Playback page showing the corresponding video clip.

 

You can upload the video and screenshots to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
