This Article Applies to:

Deco BE65/BE63/BE11000_V2.0/2.6
Deco BE25_V1.0/V1.6

Phenomenon Description:

Recently, there was some feedback that users are experiencing frequent difficulties connecting to Google services(such as Google Calendar, Gmail, YouTube, etc) while using Deco mesh systems on the following ISP networks: Starlink (Global), ISOMEDIA (US), Fastel (US), and Launtel (AU).
After further troubleshooting, we found that in most cases, the IPV4 WAN subnet mask is often lower than /16, such as 255.192.0.0(/10), 255.0.0.0(/8), or 252.0.0.0(/6), which probably caused the connection issue with Google services.

Available Solutions:

  • Official firmware versions are planned to be released soon to fix this issue.

  • Currently, it is recommended to install the following beta versions as a workaround:

Deco BE65/BE63/BE11000_V2.0/2.6 1.2.0_build_20251103_Beta
Deco BE25_V1.0/V1.6 1.1.0_build_20250912_Beta

Update Notice:

Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!

How to manually update the firmware via web UI.

  • If you also experienced a similar issue on other Deco models, please comment below with the following details:

    • Deco model and current firmware version
    • The Internet service provider and  IPV4 WAN Subnet mask on the Deco App>More>Internet Connection>IPV4 Subnet Mask
    • The web resources that can't be accessed.

I have the same problem, sometimes the apps in the Google play store don't download correctly and likewise on YouTube, the shorts stop for a while and it's not annoying.

@David-TP  does this pre-release beta firmware also resolve the Deco's intermittently crashing on public release firmware 1.2.0 and returning back to a yellow light, then booting up normally until the next crash, and also where various clients are not able to connect to Deco, even though the client can see the network? This feedback has been provided in the general BE65 thread too.

  @Sleater14

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

As the WAN subnet mask is 255.255.255.0(/24), the posted issue here should not exist.

Have you tried to manually change the IPV4 DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 to see whether it helped:

How to change DNS server settings on my Deco

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

I'm experiencing the same issue with my Deco x60(US) v2.  I have also sent an email to support with my logs about a week ago but still no resolution.

  • Deco model and current firmware version: Deco X60(US) v2, Firmware 1.6.1 Build 20250912
  • Service provider: Launtel; Subnet Mask: 255.192.0.0
  • Can't access Google websites (Youtube, Gmail)

I was having the odd issue with google so I thought I'd try the beta firmware.  Very buggy, taking multiple attempts to do anything in the app.  Also it completely stopped my Sonos app from finding my speakers.  Reset them etc to no avail.  Rolled back to 1.2 and all is good but again google falters occasionally.  The beta did fix this but caused more problems in my scenario.

I reluctantly updated using the beta firmware, and it's resolved some issues, but my Bose app won’t find my speakers now, like your issue with Sonos. I thought I was going mad, and did a reset too, and the app won’t find my speaker. That, fingers crossed, is the only device I'm having probems with. The Deco app notes the device and I can see data moving up/down.

Also, the firmware date in your post   @Willyeckerslike is the public release firmware, the beta version is at the top of this tread, and is dated November.

Yes the firmware is the public release.  I reinstalled it.  The beta for me was very buggy for example enabling/ disabling anything would take multiple attempts.

I found it worked better surfing the net, but no Sonos speakers in the Sonos app is no good for me.  I use them a lot.

Interestingly all the speakers did show up in the Deco app as connected,  just not in the Sonos app or the Spotify app.  Reverted to the public firmware and they instantly reappeared.
