Deco XE75 – 2.4GHz band disappears randomly on one satellite using Ethernet Backhaul
Hello,
I’m experiencing a recurring problem with my Deco XE75 system, and I would like TP-Link support to investigate it. I’ve also seen other users reporting similar issues recently.
System configuration
-
Main unit: Deco XE75 (EU) V1 – Firmware 1.4.3
-
Satellites:
• Deco XE75 – Dormitorio Principal (wired Ethernet backhaul to the main unit)
• Deco XE75 – Despacho (Wi-Fi backhaul to the Dormitorio node)
• Deco M4R – Cocina (Wi-Fi backhaul to the main unit)
Network topology
ONT/Router → XE75 (Salón – Main)
↳ XE75 (Dormitorio – Wired backhaul)
↳ XE75 (Despacho – Wi-Fi backhaul to Dormitorio)
↳ M4R (Cocina – Wi-Fi backhaul)
Problem
The 2.4 GHz band randomly stops working ONLY on the Deco XE75 in the master bedroom, even though that unit is connected by a stable Ethernet backhaul.
Symptoms
-
All 2.4 GHz devices near that node disconnect.
-
The Deco continues to appear online in the app, with no warnings.
-
5 GHz and 6 GHz continue working normally on that satellite.
-
The other XE75 units and the M4R work without issues.
-
The issue is only solved by rebooting the affected XE75, but it eventually returns.
Additional details
-
The system was completely stable before. The issue started recently.
-
The Ethernet cable is factory-made and verified as good.
-
Wi-Fi interference scan shows "Perfect".
-
The issue happens even with 6 GHz disabled.
-
Fast Roaming and Beamforming were tested OFF, but the problem continued.
-
The problem never affects the other XE75 units.
-
The M4R is unrelated.
Troubleshooting already performed
-
Full Deco system reboot ✔️
-
Rebooting only the affected XE75 ✔️
-
Disabled 6 GHz ✔️
-
Disabled Fast Roaming ✔️
-
Disabled Beamforming ✔️
-
Channel width changed ✔️
-
Ethernet backhaul verified ✔️
Request
Could TP-Link engineering please review whether Firmware 1.4.3 has a bug affecting the 2.4 GHz radio in XE75 satellites, even when they use Ethernet backhaul?
I can provide logs, screenshots, or run any diagnostic tests if needed.
Thank you.
