Typically, remotely viewing or managing the camera through the Tapo app will not affect the router's settings or turn the router off. Regarding the phenomenon you reported, we suggest checking if there are any special settings on the router that might cause it to automatically turn off and on. Alternatively, you can try connecting the camera to another router for testing.
