Hello TP-Link support people and users experiencing this fault!

I work for a small Australian ISP, over the last couple months we've seen numerous reports of connectivity issues with google services on the latest firmware for most Deco models. We are able to resolve these issues in all cases by plugging a PC directly into the wholesale service provider's modem (bypassing the deco), enabling a VPN on the customer's devices and temporally fixing the issue by assigning a static IP to the service.

This post by Ryan has mentions this issue is caused by the subnet mask prefix length being under /16 and has linked a beta firmware version for the BE series deco mesh routers. This perfectly explains why assigning a static to their service resolves the issue as they'll be getting assigned a IP with a subnet of /16 and above.

I've pointed as many as I can using Deco X series and M series devices to your support team but haven't heard much from them since, the beta firmware has resolved the issue in all cases I've seen for those with the new Decos.

When will this issue be addressed for other deco models? The lack of resolution has me very hesitant to recommend TP-Link as a whole which is very disappointing considering the fantastic mix of value, performance and ease of use the Archer modems and routers offer.

@Exomious we are rural and the only access we have to internet is thru Starlink and we all know how good the standard wifi is for starlink. So I recently installed 3 x Deco BE25 in our house to create a mesh network and disable the wifi thru starlink. It worked great for the first month but this past month has been horrible. The Tvs & gaming consoles dont have any issue connecting to the internet, I average speeds of 300mps so plenty of online gaming and streaming happens, however both mobile phones show connected to wifi with out internet yet all the social media apps, streaming services and anything thats not google ie yahoo works fine. I do get the ocational web page that wont open or has forbiden 403. Please note this is with mobile data switched off so just the deco network. The wifi will bounce between connection and no connection and at the times when conncetion with internet is there the only way to load a web page thru google is to open in a new tab this is happening on multiple devices. Even as write this its telling me I have no internet service, im at my whitsend with the deco and half the mind to turf it and go back to just the starlink router.

  @Pdthomas88 Sounds like you're experiencing the same issue many of our customers are as well. If you go to the post I linked (http://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/848144), download the beta firmware for the Deco BE25 and manually install it through the Deco's web page it should resolve your issues.

  @Exomious

Hi, welcome to the community.

The official firmware will be released soon. The Deco WiFi 7 models will be the first to start.

Resolving Limited Accessibility to Google Services on Specific ISP Networks (Starlink/Launtel)

May I know the specific ISP? Is it Launtel?

I noticed you also highlighted the WiFi 5/6 Deco models. There hasn't been much feedback about these models. To allow the engineers to properly evaluate the scope of the issue and prioritize future firmware releases, we would appreciate it if you could share the specific reported models or encourage users to report their issues through the local technical support channels.https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/contact-technical-support/#E-mail-Support

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
