Tapo C100 recording duration (basic plan).
Hi there! My tapo C100 is set to record on detection movement. This seems fine, but it only ever seems to record for 15 or 16 seconds. Never any longer, despite their being an obvious continuation of activity after said time. How can I lengthen this?

Hi,
Cloud recording duration is primarily determined by detected motion. For the Tapo Care cloud service, each video clip's length is limited to 3 minutes.
If your cloud video clips are 15s or 16s long, it may be that the object the camera detected is not moving continuously. For example, the object moves for 5 seconds, waits for a while, and then moves again, but waits for a while again.
If it's not the case, for further analysis, you can record the entire motion manually on the camera's live view page, then send us the full video and the corresponding cloud video clips to compare.
Best Regards
