Model: Deco BE65
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949

I recently got the Deco BE65 and I'm trying to connect my Surface Pro 12 (Snapdragon) to its network. It works perfectly fine on the regular network but when I try to connect to the MLO network, it says "Unable to connect to this network". Thing is it worked a few days ago when I initially connected to it but now it just doesn't seem to work. My phone and PC can connect to the MLO network without an issue.

My theory is either a Windows update caused something to screw up and not work with snapdragon/windows arm OR maybe my router updating its firmware and making it not compatible with snapdragon. I think my surface connected before the firmware updated but I can't fully remember the timeline.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the network adapter/driver, restarting my computer, rebooting my router, resetting my router to create a new network and forgetting the network to reconnect to it. Nothing seems to work.

Should I just give up and turn off the MLO network, and just stick to the regular network? I've read about this issue being common due to firmware updates or windows update.

And any ideas as to how else I could try solve this issue?

Also disregard the hardware v1 version. I'm not sure if it is that one. I don't know where to find the hardware version

  @AustenLee

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

The hardware versions should be V2.0.

Did the Surface Pro 12 have no issue connecting to both regular 2.4+5GHz and 6GHz networks, right?

I didn't have other suggestions for now and would like to follow up on your case via email to ask the senior engineer for further advice.

Please check whether you can receive my email later.

Best regards.

  @AustenLee If you do a general search on this forum, you'll see and be joining a lot of people who are having trouble with the recently public release of BE65 v2 firmware, 1.2.0, and the recent urgent release of the beta version firmware 1.2.0, yes, both public release and the recent beta is both 1.2.0. The beta version fixes some of the subnet numbering, however critical bugs remain.

I'd suggest reaching out to support, and with more people notifying TP Link about this, hopefully they provide a updated newer version of firmware soon.

  @David-TP

Yes the SP12 has no issue connecting to the regular network. I've set it to default to 6ghz and it works.

Also I have received that email, I'll be awaiting their expertise.

Thank you David!
