Hi Joseph. Does this EU firmware work with the US version Acher BE550 v1?

Thank you!

  @Joseph-TP Hi Joseph. So the firmware will not lock my router to the EU version? I'm hesitated because I heard EU router has weaker WIFI signal and different channel due to local regulation. I just want to make sure before I install it. Thank you!

Hi@Holiday25 ,

As far as I know, wireless conditions are restricted by identifying the hardware code. If your hardware code is not the EU version, you will not be restricted as a result.

  @Joseph-TP  Hi Joseph, I have an Archer GXE75_V1. After the firmware update, "If QoS Enabled Causes Buffer Bloat and High Latency," I experience issues. The problem is that when I try to download the beta version for my router here from this topic, I always get the message "Please go to TP-Link Official Website to get products, software, and services for your region."
I've tried using a VPN from various locations, but I still get the same error. I can download firmware for other models correctly.
I await your response. Thanks.

Hello @Maurooo1 ,

Have you tried this beta firmware? Archer AX55 Pro_V1_1.4.3 Build 20251202(Beta Firmware)

You may follow the guide to upgrade your router's firmware. How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers.

  @iteo92 ,

Welcome to our community.

When you try to install the firmware, please confirm:

  • Turn off all VPN software and proxies (including browser plugins) on your computer/phone.
  • Ensure your computer is connected to the network of the router you are updating (i.e., the local area network that manages it) via Wi-Fi or wired connection.
  • It's best to close other unnecessary network applications (such as online videos and large file downloads).

  @Joseph-TP

Hi, thanks for replying. I'm still experiencing the letter C in LibreQoS or other Bufferbloat instances. Is there any secret setting that can fix this?

I downloaded that beta version; my download speed is 600 Mbps, but the upload speed is different and never the same with my ISP. It's coaxial. The fiber optic connection is ready, but it hasn't been activated in the area yet.
