Hello @JPromano ,

We are still collecting user feedback on the GE550 Pre-release, and there is no clear announcement yet regarding when the Official firmware will be released. Please keep an eye on the official website for firmware releases.

  @Joseph-TP I would like to share a weird behavior in the GE550 v1 1.3.0(beta).

I checked that the RGB effects/features are being turned on automatically after the router reboot.

I don't know if the log will help, but I confirmed this issue after to repeat the test many times.

Thank you.

Hello @JPromano ,

Do you mean you set the LED off, but it will turn on after the router reboots?

Hi @JPromano ,

We may also need to confirm whether this behavior is abnormal.

We would like to escalate your case to the support engineers, and they will follow up on it. If you are willing to conduct further analysis, please check your inbox and respond.

  @Joseph-TP

My BE230 (v2.0) router isn't working as it should. The QoS setting not only fails to resolve bufferbloat but actually makes it worse. When I use my modem’s QoS feature, I get +25 and +15 ms in the bufferbloat test, but when I use TP-Link’s QoS feature, I get +70 and +1100 ms.

Are you working on a fix for this? Feedback regarding this issue has been submitted numerous times over the past year, but the problem has not been resolved in any way.

I tried version 1.3.1, and later version 1.1.7. Neither helped. Are you planning to fix this issue?

Hello  @Sidon ,

May I know whether your router's firmware is 1.1.7 now? If so, you can try the Archer BE230_V2_1.1.3 Build 20260127 (Beta Firmware) and see if it helps.

Additionally, please test the actual speed and latency with QoS enabled and disabled, and share the test results, including screenshots.

Hello  @Joseph-TP

Yes, it's 1.1.7. I've tried 1.1.3 beta and it didn't help. Here's the results:

First screenshot: QoS disabled on BE230, enabled on modem

Second screenshot: 1.1.3 QoS disabled on BE230 and disabled on modem
Third screenshot: 1.1.3 QoS enabled on BE230 and disabled on modem

1.1.3 QoS disabled
